T A Y L O R   T H O R N T O N   is an artist , filmmaker , comedian and giver of incredible high-fives from San Antonio, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in Radio / Television / Film in 2015 and has been in Los Angeles carving a path in film production / art ever since.

 

Growing up, Taylor was always ingesting or creating some type of media, be it a movie, performance, or illustration. As an illustrator and avid sketcher, to this day no paper restaurant tablecloth is safe from his creative crayon wrath. 

 

His early moviemaking years were spent shooting, animating and acting in ridiculous satirical fake trailers to non-existent movies. His passion for all aspects of production and development has driven him to working on dozens of film sets and at companies ranging from Warner Bros. Animation to Imagine Entertainment to Adult Swim to eOne to  in both grassroots and creative positions.

In August 2019, Taylor wrote, pre-visualized and co-directed a Spaghetti Western commercial in Almeria, Spain, on the iconic Old West set built for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. 

 

Taylor is also an accomplished screenwriter, with his animated pilot Jack Lantern: Ghost Puncher  placing in the Austin Film Festival Teleplay Competition.

This past year alone, Taylor's artwork was featured in 6+ shows at iconic galleries such as Gallery 1988. He also ventured into graphic design with Netflix, creating a logo for one of their production companies.

In 2022, Taylor joined Warner Bros. Animation working on projects such as Mortal Kombat 3,  Mortal Kombat 4, and is currently working on the new Yogi Bear show Jellystone ! for HBO Max.
